Is the Cuddle Box mobile? Can it store away?
Absolutely! The Boundex was designed with parents and traveling therapists in mind. The frame quickly breaks down to fit nicely in the back of your car for easy transport or in your closet when not in use.
-
What is the weight limit for the Boundex Cuddle Box?
The Cuddle Box is suitable for children up to 100 lbs but is most therapeutic for those between 20-40 lbs (7 months – 4 years old). Smaller children experience more movement opportunities, enhancing the product’s benefits.
-
What should I do if my child is over 40 lbs and still wants to use the Cuddle Box?
If you choose to use the product for a child over 40 lbs, we recommend adding a Teddy Bear Mat or other mat beneath the Boundex. If the child can climb out of the Boundex Cuddle Box or sinks to the ground the product is no longer therapeutic.
-
How do I clean the lycra?
To clean, machine wash and hang dry the lycra.
-
Do you offer replacement or spare sets of Lycra?
Yes, you can purchase a set of three lycra layers as replacement.

Update:I just received material replacement and a sweet card from the company. I wasn’t expecting this and I thought I’d have to jump through hoops they seen my comment and took it upon themselves to fix the issue, which was great!. I do still think stuff geared towards Autistic kids is highly overpriced and most of us parents can agree, but this company has shown up and went beyond expectations to fix an issue. If you can afford the price tag it’s a good company to buy from and my kids do love playing on it.We received this and have not had it up very long. Not even two weeks, and the threads are already coming undone. It’s bad enough people mark up products that they market towards ASD kiddos and other medical needs to where it’s almost impossible for the average parents to get their hands on things like this. $500 is pretty steep to pay and the threading is already coming undone with normal wear and tare.My twin 3.5 yr olds both ASD kiddos loves this cuddle box. Do I think it’s way over priced for what it actually is and feel it’s way marked up using childrens disabilities and parents desperation as a selling point YES!

We purchased the Boundex from TumblTrak to use in the new sensory room in our pediatric therapy clinic. We didn’t have the capacity to hang a Lycra swing in this room so we were looking for something that would provide the same deep pressure and input but was more easily moved around to other areas. First of all, the quality and feel of this Lycra fabric is exceptional. It is soft and bouncy to the touch for our sensitive kids and yet sturdy enough to accommodate even some of our larger clients. There are three layers of material that can be used in a number of ways. It comes with a mesh bag for easy storage and cleaning but I was able to rinse this out after using it and it dried in under an hour. This is great for a reward or time out for kiddos that need some deep compression or pressure to help regulate them during a session or at home. I have already used it for many clients from babies working on rolling, to older kids who just needed to calm themselves between activities, to all ages in between. The base is very sturdy and well constructed. I have had children lying under the unit pushing up on the the lycra with their feet for joint compression, had them suspended on top of each layer with varied levels of compression, and have had them crawling under the layers playing peek-a-boo just for fun . I have only had this for about 2 weeks and already I am using it with almost every client. The kiddos are begging to get back in the Boundex and I am excited to see all of the ways this can be used in the clinic…or even at home for a home sensory room.

I have a 4 year old brother who has autism as well as other mental disabilities. His sensory needs are incredibly high and before we bought this box for him he was incredibly aggressive. He was bitin, hitting, and pinching constantly. But now he has a way to get that intense vistibular movement and is so much less aggressive. Him and his older brother play in it everyday without fail. I can’t imagine how different our lives would look if we didn’t have this incredible box. It has a permanent place in our living room. It’s a tad difficult to build and wash but it’s so incredibly worth it! To anyone who has children with sensory needs, YOU NEED THIS! I know the price can be daunting but I promise it will pay it’s worth and so much more in your child’s happiness.
