This is exactly what I needed during a recovery from surgery. Prior to this, I had just had my husband place a stepstool next to the bed and I used the handle on that to help get in and out of bed without straining my torso and keeping completely straight. I wish I had had this sooner. NOTE: This is NOT a safety rail that is going to prevent things or people from falling out of bed — it is just a handle/support which is what I wanted post-op, not a guard rail.✔My kiddo put it together in about 30 seconds and slid it under the mattress and it is perfect (no tools needed). I did not use the strap that helps further secure it under the mattress and around the base of the bed because this is not a long term set up for me (just post op for a couple weeks) — but it does come with this if you need it. The base that goes under the mattress is pretty long, so it stays securely for my needs just with body weight alone.✔The bar height is adjustable — so even with our thick mattress and fluffy pillow top (which makes getting in and out of bed harder post-op), this has plenty of room to spare.✔It is only about a foot from left to right — so it doesn’t take up too much space on the bed — I have room to get in and out and sit on the side of the bed; it just acts as a perfect handle to help me. It is 100% exactly what I needed and has a small footprint.✔It has the little pocket bag attached already and there is a larger mesh slip pocket on one side (facing outward) and two smaller ones on the inside (facing the bed). They aren’t huge, but they are great for the remote, phone, glasses — so I don’t have to stretch and reach around to the side table.This is exactly what I needed post-op. We will definitely keep this for future use just in case! This is definitely a great assist during my recovery!!

The people at Moodooy, have produced a much needed product. Yes, their guardrail is for the elderly (that’s me) with mobility impairments. However, our daughter appreciates said rail when she places our granddaughter in our bed for a nap.She first, places a king size pillow against said rail, which allows added security and an excellent comfort barrier for our two year old. Also, the bed rails pocket holds a diaper and bottle (grandpa thinks she’s almost done with the bottle).We placed said guardrail in our fifth wheel. The RV’s mattress sits a little lower than normal beds, thus, I needed a little help at 67 years old to rise and shine… safely and with less pain.I like that the bedrail is mobile. It can be moved for the best location around the bed for different uses. It fits beautifully and securely, where the bedrail frame (w/rubber) holds the wood/mattres tight.The guardrail’s height is adjustable, with its non-slip handle giving the integrity of knowing what you grab is secure.Questions, please ask. This was easy to put together. The different parts snapped into place pretty quickly. The rail can be placed at three different heights. The instructions are easy to follow but they are clearly translated into English, so the sentences only mostly make sense. The handrail slips between the mattress and the box spring for stability – this works fine. It also comes with a strap to secure the rail if you use boards instead of a box spring.
