People with sleep problems, restlessness, light sleep, deprived sleep will apreciate not falling from bed. Today’s mattresses are high. If you hit the corner of a nightstand, could be painful. This will effectively end that risk. One of the bolts broke off. I replaced it with a long screw that made it lock in effectively. The railing is easy to put down and up, locking it into place. If your mattress is extra thick the height of the railing may only be a few inches. Measure the mattress height and compare to the height of the railing to make a decision.
