Over the past several years Elenker has built up a very large business while on Galenus Medical due to their Quality, Engineering and Design for mobility equipment and this upright rollator is no exception if it will work for you:Here what I like best about this regular sized Upright Walker from Elenker:It’s very easy to assemble – no tools required. It comes well packaged to help prevent dings and scratches to the metal surface during shipping. It’s very adjustable for one’s height and forearm reach from the elbow to the hands to enable upright walking. It has dual locking handbrakes, pull handles to slow walker down and push handle to lock brakes in place. This model comes with the Sit-To-Stand set of handles for ease of sitting or rising from the seat.I appreciate the 10″ front wheels since it makes it easier to maneuver the rollator outdoors. Also its’ weight is only 22 lbs. and it folds down to a very compact size to store or transport in your vehicle.Actually I only have one Con with this walker since it’s designed for the average sized individual and it is made to support up to 300 lbs. but based on its’ current design it would be limited not so much on the weight it can or can’t support but on the person’s frame width as you sit between the two padded armrests that are only 15 inches wide between them. Once seated I felt a little cramped instead of sitting upright I felt the need to bend over past the armrests. The vertical supports that carry the armrests are only 18.5″ wide between the two. So it’s apparent that these dimensions may not work for some depending on their frame width, but don’t give up hope. If you feel you may have a problem with being able to sit comfortably in this regular sized rollator then Elenker has a Heavy Duty model that offers a much wider frame for very little added cost thus giving you a more comfortable sitting position. Now the only drawback with the Elenker Heavy Duty Rollator is that due to the increased width you may have issues with traversing some doorways in your home but in most instances it should work great for you with the additional sitting room. But also let me state if this model will work for your individual size then it would be easier to transport and lighter in weight with this rollator due to its’ smaller size. So Elenker has you covered with top quality walkers no matter which one you choose…

My mum fell and broke her hip about a year ago. She has since recovered almost 80%. I got her this upright walker to assist her during her longer walks around the neighborhood. This rollator walker allows for stand up walking and also if needed, she can sit and rest. Assemble took me a while but it wasn’t too difficult. Wheels run smooth and overall a quality product.

Mom was having issues with her regular walker at the highest adjustment her posture was still off. This walker allowed her to correct her stance, offered adequate support, and had a seat when she needed rest.

I love my new walker. I have the standard rolater that I purchased several years ago, but due to severe stability issues with my knees I had fallen several times because the rolater is in front of you and you are pushing with your hands and arms away from the body. With the upright your arms and hands are comfortably resting closer to the body and unlikely to cause a fall by rolling away from you. Also your posture is better therefore no curvature of the spine that often comes with age and disability. I have received a lot of questions about the price and I am not ashamed to tell everyone it is affordable. I previously checked out several medical supply companies and had decided I would have to stick with a standard walker or wind up in a wheelchair because my Medicare would pay for them, I now tell everyone to check with Galenus Medical first. Unfortunates they do not come assembled so ask a family member or friend that is good with directions and handy for help assembling! The cup/ phone holder are nice but hard to clamp to the frame, I don’t think they are made by the same company. My husband attached mine between the hand grips and the frame hangs down so it does not fit in your way.

Seat could be a little deeper by allowing different adjustments on back strap. On rough ground may “push” over due to being lightweight, rather than rooling. I put ankle weights near the back tires to help this when rolling through grass. Hope this helps someone . Also could do with a tire spike ability to keep the legs sed even when brakes are locked. Sometimes sitting down causes “push out” when on light grass areas.

I bought mine in November 2021 and absolutely love it. I am partially paralyzed from a broken neck suffered 30+ years ago. I am prone to falling so when I walk, I am very cautious which causes my gait to alter and get all out of whack. I use a cane for most of my shorter distances and used to use my standard half height walker for longer distances. They worked but they still did not give me the confidence to move with a regular gait. Once I got this product I actually incorporated it into my exercise routine where I do the gym 3-4 days a week and walk a couple miles a day.I actually do a lite jog with it (to the extent I can jog). Fantastic product and see they have modified it from my version which almost make me want to donate mine and buy a new one when I have the funds. I highly recommend this product.

I keep having trouble with it folding up after I’ve been walking with it for a few minutes. Yes, I do press down to unfold it, and the metal clips click into place to se it. However, after a short time, the clips release on their own, and without realizing it, I find it starting to fold closed. I suspect there may be an issue with quality control, as the shape or groove in the hooks might not be deep enough or at the right angle. I can open it and click it into place, but if I lightly rock it back and forth on the floor using my hands, I can see the clips slipping out of the retention bars, causing the walker to start folding.
