Susan Surdyk –
The light weight wheelchair is easy to use and drive around in tight spaces.
TreeFiddy –
This is a good “second” powered wheelchair, but not ideal as a primary. The emphasis here is that it is relatively lightweight and portable while still maintaining enough functionality to be useful. It’s particularly nice for things like grocery shopping or a doctor visit where you will mainly be using it indoors on flat, even surfaces for a short time, and the biggest obstacle is a well maintained parking lot. It is not really meant for heavy outdoor use or long trips. This is also reflected in the battery life; in order to make this chair portable, the battery has to be pretty small, so it’s not something you’ll be able to use all day without restarting several times. So is it worth it? If you have the money to spare and would like a second chair that is easy to take around for light duty use while running errands and such, this is a very nice chair! But if you are on a budget and need something that can be used all day on a variety of terrain, you will definitely want to invest in a more robust chair that has less emphasis on portability.

This chair is just what was told about in their ad. I can lift it to put it in my car trunk. I took it to the grocery store for the first time using it. It worked really well. I could turn it around in the isle with no problem. It does turn on a dime. I am no longer going to have to worry if there will be a store chair for me to use. It is worth what I Paid for it. It was very comterful to ride in also.

I am so thrilled to have this chair for my 86 year old mom who has Parkinson’s and severe arthritis. My once beautiful, vibrant and active mom keeps falling due to her weak muscles from Parkinson’s. While she can stand and walk a few steps she has relied on me to push her in a lite transporter chair when we go to Walgreens, Kohl’s, clothes shopping or anywhere there isn’t an electric chair provided (i.e. Kroger, Meijer’s, Walmart). I’m 63 so I’m no spring chicken so taking care of mom is getting harder. Along comes this excellent, portable, electric chair! It was a snap to assemble. Instructions for use are easy to comprehend. It was easy to charge up the battery. It’s a little heavy for me to lift into the trunk but it most certainly is doable. I’m used to lifting her 17lb Transporter chair so the extra weight and material on this one take a bit getting used to.The chairs rolls smoothly. The back wheels are large enough to go over much terrain but the smaller front wheels can get you stuck in certain spots but you just need to learn how to maneuversuch as coming at bumps from an angle. There are safety feature such as a strap to hold patient in place. The foot-rests are adequate. The seat is comfortable. The arms are a bit short but long enough to rest on. You can move the levers on the wheels back when not using the battery so you can push the patient manually. The chair is small but what do you expect if you want it to be light-weight? Small or not my mom sat comfortably in it with her jacket on. I’m 5’10” and not chubby and fit in it just fine. The joy-stick is easy to use. Sometimes I have to press the start button a bit firm to turn it on.Overall this is a fully portable electric chair that gives mobility and independence where once you had to depend on others.
