Overall, I like my chair. The chair itself is well made. It was stiff and hard to open at first and the locking clip was very hard to push or pull. Those things are getting better the more I use the chair. I love the size and functionality. Mine has a remote and it does bring the chair to me. But I never really use it. Now let’s talk batteries. They suck!! Yes, there are 2 batteries. No, they are not connected and DO NOT charge together. Book says let batteries completely run out before charging. Then you have to charge each battery 8 hours. So that’s 16 hours of charging batteries. I took my chair to a 2 week trip to Hawaii. I could not go 6 blocks on the one battery. Although the book says don’t do short charges, I had no choice. My husband is also in a chair. His chair ran all week without being charged. I had to quickly find a place to charge before my chair died. Then we sat there at least a half hour to hour to get enough juice for me to move on. There is no bridge between the batteries so you can use both of them. You have to get back under the chair, unhook one battery, move cable over to the other battery, and plug it in. That’s just the beginning…. Location!! It was horrible trying to get the batteries out to board the plane. First, I can’t bend my spine is fused in multiple places. The batteries are located back under the seat. Then the little storage bag is in front of them. The storage bag has to be removed to get to the batteries. We are boarded first because of our chairs so while I’m trying to get my batteries out or get someone to get them for me, 300 people are glaring at me waiting to board the plane. And it’s the same issue leaving the plane trying to get them back in. Taking this chair on this trip with me was a complete nightmare. The batteries on my husband’s chair are located in the front left and right just below the arms. You squish the button, and they pop right out. The charge simultaneously. He has NEVER run out of batteries on his chair. I won’t say what brand it is. I chose my chair over his because his weights about 60 pounds. My little chair is just right for me….. except for the batteries. I give the chair 3 stars because it really is a wonderful chair but had to down grade it because of the batteries. The batteries get a negative 30 rating.

The chair works excellent. I am now able to go out to stores, the mall and other activities with my wife, children and grandchildren. Very easy to learn to operator the chair. I would recommend this chair to anyone. I have had lots of people stop and ask me where I go and how it works.

I normally use a Permobil power chair for daily mobility, but it is often a hassle to travel with. My husband and I purchased the MALISA electric chair for when we travel. We just got home from a beach trip and the chair was everything we hoped for and needed. It folds and fit easily into my husbands truck and is light weight enough he didn’t strain his back lifting. All in all we were very pleased with our purchase.

This thing didn’t even last a year before the frame broke, I’m told it is unrepairable. Don’t waste your money !
