Bought primarily for use as a raised toilet seat over a regular toilet. It is sturdy and well designed. Can be folded up for travel if needed. Lightweight and easy to move onto the toilet and off again. None of the usual raised toilet seats worked with our Kohler elongated toilet, but this one has its own legs and arms and fits fine. It comes with both a normal commode bucket with lid and also a “splash shield” used instead of the bucket when used over a regular toilet. Well made, good design, and very reasonable price on Amason. (guess which key is broken on my laptop.)

I am happy with this bedside commode. It works great! Great price and seems strong. I am using it on a disabled senior and you can place this over your toilet so the patient will have handles to help steady themselves. I feel this commode is a great value and have ordered 2 for 2 separate houses. Thanks.
