This walker exceeded my expectations. It’s very light yet sturdy, and offers great stability while walking. The wheels roll smoothly and the brake is very se. Plus, the padded seat is perfect for resting when needed. I bought it for my elderly dad, and it has been a great help with his daily mobility.

My friends have been bugging me to get a “walker” for a while now as a brain “injury” causes left foot/ leg issues off and on.Flop foot, tripping and falling several times a day when it has pressure on the nerve that directs the foot.A cane doesn’t help except standing a little and using to balance standing. But basically useless for my condition.I had no idea how much energy it took out of me to use the rt side of my body/lg to get about in the house( just that side stays sore and worn out) Just using in the house back and forth to the kitchen and frt door or back door to let out the pup is well worth the money and energy saved. Im not having to use it at the groc store or any place with a shopping cart.It has a fairly wide seat if i need to sit but use the seat mainly to transport things i woud normally have in my hand.My pup who weighs 9ish pounds has ridden with me once a day on the seat and not jumped off so far. Im training her to get used to it so if i ever have to use away from home she wont be afraid of falling.Im giving 5 stars for the value of use regarding the price and ease of use so far.Its still brand new so if it doesnt hold up well I will update in the future.

Even at its maximum height I wish it were a little taller for my husband who is 5’8”

First let me say that my regular everyday Rollator Walker is a “Drive” brand bariatric rollator walker. That is the model I have used for several years and am very happy with. I obtained this Healthcare Direct 100RA Steel Rollator Walker as a back-up. I have used the Drive model as a benchmark for this review. This Healthcare Direct 100RA Steel Rollator Walker is quite a bit lighter weight and easier to load into a vehicle to go shopping, visiting, or any other traveling with a vehicle. This Healthcare Direct Rollator fits through doors with greater ease than my Drive bariatric rollator. The trade off is a narrower seat that just does accommodate me. I tip the scales at just over 300 pounds so I will only consider a bariatric rated rollator. This Healthcare Direct Rollator is rated at 350 pound capacity, and is about half the price of the Drive model I bought several years ago. I was a little concerned about the three spoke, 6 inch wheels but they are giving good service on hard surfaces and they lock by pushing the brake lever down, just like the Drive model.Assembly was quick and easy, construction appears to be sturdy, and the finish appearance is very good. There is a storage pouch under the seat that is quite handy although I prefer the metal basket under the seat of my Drive rollator – – – possibly just because I have grown accustomed to it – – – capacity is about the same. Bottom Line – a good rollator for a good price.
