Mary Johanning-Thomas –
I I previously had a Dolomite Legacy 600 Walker before. After over 20 years of having the same walker I decided to try a different brand. This was partially because of the cost of the Dolomite but also the lack of quality of parts on Dolomite walkers. They are not what they used to be! I thought that I was going to have to return My Nova Zoom 22 Walker. When I had it set on the highest notch I could walk with it but it wanted to come up on the front end every time I put a lot of weight on the handlebars. This is almos for any walkers to do. It seemed to me like something was off balance. I was so disheartened, because I needed a different brand of walker other than Dolomite. Their height is way off. I had what was supposed to be the walker for my height. I would have needed to get a taller one because I am 5 foot 3 inches tall. with my Dolomite I had to lean down a half inch. I don’t mind. This was supposed to be the walker that I needed. Previously if I got the taller one I was on my tippy toes. I now have a back injury that makes it difficult for me to lean down even a half an inch. I needed to find a walker that would go up to my actual height, to get away from having to lean down. After lots of research I decided on the Nova. I liked it a lot when I got it. I couldn’t figure out why though it did not seem sturdy. Someone else in my family who is 5 ft 4 inches tall tried to use the Nova Zoom. She said it was a little tall for her. I thought before I return this, I am going to lower it a notch and see if that makes things any better. Thank God all of my problems are gone!! I know the person in the videos for Nova said that the second to the highest notch would be the right one for people that are 5 foot 3 inches tall. Knowing that my Dolomite was a little too low I automatically set this at 36 in tall. This is one time that a person definitely should listen to what is advised in the videos, as far as how to set it height wise. I think the difference is Nova makes their walkers more ergonomically correct than Dolomite does! The handlebars on the Nova Zoom 22 are very nice as well!

The walker has a sturdy frame that makes it very steadying. The eight inch wheels makle for easy rolling. Having brake locks helps whe ngetting up from a seated position.

I should have got this years ago. My previous one was a basic model that was wearing out. I’m dependent on my rollator and decided on this one after reading the reviews. Right out of the box, I was impressed. So easy to put together, the brakes engage with very little effort. It’s very easy to maneuver, fits through doorways. It is expensive but worth it.

This came almost completely assembled which is so nice trying to do it yourself. Just the handles and backrest need installation. And done!I chose the 20” based on my height. When seated it’s perfect. Feet flat on the floor. Brakes are solid! Both squeeze walking and locking when sitting. The underseat cloth bag is a great size and seems sturdy. This means I don’t have to carry a purse, important when your hands are engaged. The backrest does fold over for folding the rollator which I haven’t done yet.I do wish there was one more adjustment hole in the handle, it’s just the slightest bit too low. When standing my wrist isn’t quite meeting the handles. I don’t want to go through trying to exchange it though, I’ve been through the mill trying to find the right rollator. That’s my only gripe, is not having that extra hole to make a truly perfect, comfortable fit. For $200+ if there was a way to get different handles, that would be great but I doubt it’s possible. I’m 5’5”, kinda short legs, which is why I went for the 20” over the 22”. Please see pictures, last one I’m pointing at the handle where you adjust it that needs one more hole to make it fit perfectly
