Needing some extra help after surgery I purchased this rolater so I could walk without falling and to stand straight up, not being able to bend or stoop over. The handles raised up to my convenience, it folded enough to get through narrow doors and I can put my grabber into the cane holder. The cup and phone holder is nice addition also. The only thing l didn’t like was that the back strap kept falling off every time we fold it to go into the car. So l just left it off eventually. It is comfortable to sit on and the brakes lock really good. It has worked very well on all terrain I’ve used so far. I love the gold color and I am pleased with this purchase.

I rarely leave product reviews but others’ reviews of walkers were so helpful in making my decision that this is my way of saying “thank you” and paying it forward!Very pleased with the maneuverability of this walker, including indoors in tight spaces & over carpet and outside on various terrain. The step up pedals are a big help when there aren’t curb cuts or ramps. Very easy assembly. Brakes are easy to use and handles are comfortable. I’m 5’8” and 115lbs and the seat and adjustable height work well for me. Folds up easily. My caregiver is petite but didn’t have much trouble lifting and fitting it into my Mini Cooper, although I did end up getting a second lighter walker solely for travel purposes.

My father had something similar a few years ago that the medical supply house sold to him for 700.00. I know: I wrote the check. Both dad – and that rollator – are gone now.My wife needs walking assistance due to cancer. She also is attending a balloon fest this weekend where she will be walking a lot and may have need of a chair! I knew immediately that she needed a rollator!I reviewed all the models that Galenus Medical has listed. Drive Medical, Medline, Helavo, Journey, Elenker, and several no name models, all ranging in price from $79 to $699! I read the reviews of each, took notes of the good and bad, pros and cons. It was confusing and frustrating.THEN I reviewed one manufacturer that offered a line of rollators that was totally unique: the brake cables are “INSIDE” the support frame. It is the MAXWALK All terrain basic. Model MW2401-Green.What is so unique about this brand? All the others have the brake cables dangling in front, posing possible storage or snagging problems! The cables are hidden inside the top handle bars!!In addition, assembly was child simple. Unpack the box, pull out the already assembled frame with seat, turn upside down and click in the four wheels. DONE!It comes with a storage bag that attaches / hangs in front under the seat which is removable and has a detachable shoulder strap; a removable cane holder; and a removable combination cup and phone holder that fit my wife’s iPhone 14 Max perfectly! Plus it is available in several colors. My wife loves the deep green of this rollator. The 10” front and 8” rear solid rubber wheels are perfect for around our house and outside across our lawn. And the dual brakes work great. They are adjustable as needed. The seat is foldable yet comfortable, with a wide backrest. All points that need bolt and nuts use the nylon locking nuts to more se hold in place. And it has red rear and white front reflectors.Max advertised weight handling is 300 pounds. It folds easily and weighs only 20 pounds. All in all this is a FANTASTIC VALUE and I’m surprised it’s not more that what I paid for it. So — stop looking at all the others and BUY THIS MAX WALK TODAY!I purchased this unit for my wife. I was not compensated for this review. This is all my positive thoughts about this rollator. In fact, I’m buying another — for myself!

As a whole I love it but I wonder if I should’ve got the 12″ wheels instead of the 10″. I live on a very rocky patch of the Big Island of Hawaii and the 10″ wheels get caught by rocks. A couple other complaints. With the cup holder in place I can’t get thru my 32″ doorways. Luckily the coffee cup I use has an open handle so I hook the cup to the seat back brackets. Also the curb lifters are a joke and a hazard. People that need a walker are usually unsteady on their feet so trying to maneuver the curb with one foot is difficult! You’re trying to press the lifter and push the walker up the curb at the same time on one foot when it’s hard enough trying to stand on 2 feet. I had a hard time trying to keep my balance. Now I just lift the front by the seat brackets. Also you should warn people to wear steel toed shoes cuz those lifters hurt! But still, The only way I’d get rid of this walker is for larger wheels!

The walker is a well built, the only problem which the manufacturer resolved very satisfactory was the basket strap broke and they promptly sent a replacement. The other issue is if you are someone that uses the brakes a lot there will need to be adjustments constantly to keep the brakes making contact with the wheels for stopping and locking it into place. It supports are very large adult male and is very modifiable to height, for taller persons
