Update-2 (11/29/24): Additional observation on the rubber feet, the metal ball at the end of the leg has rather sharp edges. Overtime, that is going to cut and chew up the rubber cup. First thought is to file down the sharp edges of the bottom part of the ball foot. Second and more complicated would be to in-fill the removed sections to make the bottom more of a true sphere or ball, which would a harder time cutting into the rubber. A heavier patient would probably accelerate the wear of the rubber part. I’ll work on a solution and post some more pictures (probably 3-D print some inserts, and glue them in place). Thought about epoxy filling, but that would be much more work.Update (11/24/24): Additional observations, 1) this unit is really well built; 2) there are fifteen (15) adjustment heights; 3) small wrench included, but I couldn’t figure out what it is for, and the instructions don’t mention it; 4) I tested this at full height extension, and did some dynamic load tests (e.g. loading and unloading my full body weight), and the unit was rock solid. Changing rating to 5-stars.Summary: Before watching the videos, my first thought is that this walker is 3-5 times more expensive than similar offerings. This one features real time height adjustment of all four (4) legs, by the person, not an assistant. Evaluating the safety aspect of this convenient feature.Observations: Watch the videos to understand how the quick adjustable legs work. There are two orange levers, under protective guards, when depressed, the legs are unlocked, and can be retracted or extended. Appears that each side (left/right), controls both of the legs on that side. This company only offers 6 products, so not a specialty manufacturer.Recommendation: I am on the fence on whether this level of quick adjustability is worth the potential for an accident. The hand-eye coordination to adjust the height, especially doing this at the top of the stairs and moving in the downward direction is a high risk task. I would have the patient practice extensively before using it unattended. Conclusion: At $150, this is still quite expensive, especially for a non-specialty manufacturer. Rating this 3-stars.

This product would not work and did not engage with the locking mechanisms very unsafe

Walker is light weight and does not take up much space when folded.Fits in car trunk easily. Is strong and lightweight for easy use.
