I researched for days on Galenus Medical, WM, the internet and finally decided on this one. I’m a big gal, size 26 @ 375 lbs. I didn’t got Covid during the pandemic because I never went anywhere that wasn’t curbside pickup or drive thru. Thus, I stopped walking.Pros: big enough for my buxom bottom, very easy to assemble (more on that in a sec), easy to adjust the handles for taller or shorter people so you’re not hunched over which distresses the lower back, the back strap is wide enough to comfortably support you while sitting on it, the handbrakes are easy & comfortable to use, handbrakes aren’t stiff but easily squeezed even when arthritic hands or fingers, the seat is surprisingly comfortable, while sitting the armrests are at a very good height, The Walker glides along blacktop beautifully, it only takes maybe 5 minutes to get used to getting up and down on the seat and walking with it and holding it in place, and it’s extremely sturdy & well made.CONS: this puppy is heavy (over 30 lbs), the handbrakes only control the back wheels to it for sure moved but not free rolling, it takes around 5 minutes to get the hang of using it properly so it doesn’t get her out from underneath you while you sit down or while you’re getting up, I would strongly suggest someone walking with you esp in the beginning so someone is spotting you as you sit down or stand up. They can stand behind the back strap with the front of their shoes resting on the front wheel which spin as the back ones are fixed in one direction, it’s frightening at first but very quickly you see the tremendous value this tool brings to your life, it’s expensive but the cost is sooo worth it for the immediate freedom you get back in your life!Adjusting the height of the arms is super simple, just unscrew the turn thingy gently pull the arm up to you standing straight, count the holes, tighten it up, and adjust the other side to match. Easier if someone helps you with this but not required. Getting the back strap on (so you don’t fall over backwards when you’re sitting) is to remove the arm rest one at a time, slide it over the bottom, slide it to the top, & tighten both again, then do the other side. This walker is absolutely by far the best physical tool to get back to walking for a heavy set person and the instant emotional relief that you can do this, you can move again, you can have a life, some freedom again can’t be understated! For the first time in 4 yrs, I feel I can actually do this because when I need to sit down, my easy to get in/out of chair is always right at my fingertips.

The rollator is heavier in comparison to the standard rollator. It is definitely solid and well built and safe so take that into account but know it’s heavier than the standard. The issue lies in: Users who need their product may well have difficulties expanding the rollator for us and collapsing it when needed and given its bulker than your average rollator may need help loading it into a vehicle. It may take a bit of time and be easier to do another time when it comes to expanding and collapsing this rollator. Other issue… you can adjust the brakes in my opinion they need to be made a bit robust in brake adjistment. Did several adjustments and tests on hard wood floors the brakes adjustment improved but it seems the wheels being rather smooth when it comes to the wheel tread betrayed the brake adjustment. The wheels, with better grip may be the deciding factor. Better brakes and better wheels with more grip in the tread is an area that on this well built rollator could use some improvement. Some better replacement wheels would be a great idea for those that have already purchased it and feel the same way in this area. A very well built rollator that required s bit of time to expand and collapse. Would I recommend, yes, hands down better that your average rollator. But keep the above in mind. Haven’t expanded and collapsed it more than a few times… so that may improve and I may improve doing it. Remember this Rollator is heavier and it is well buit so, given this it is bulkier than the average… would I want a loved one to use this over the run of the mill rollator, yes. But they may need help opening/closing and loading into the vehicle.

Key Points.PROSNarrow enough for old sidewalksWide enough for a big personSturdy with Padded seatCollapses on width AND depth to a size you can pull over your lap into your car yourself.CONSHEAVYArms require bolts to adjust heightI have a unique situation.I have a narrow rickety sidewalk too narrow for my bariatric wheelchair (kept going off track into the dirt) I’m 6’4″ 450 Lbs, Live alone. No one to help me and a compact car.Its Narrower than my regular walker, so JUST fits on my narrow sidewalkSeat is Cushy and area between arms fits me at 450 Lbs.VERY Strong – Like that i don’t have to deal w air in the tiresComes fully assembled., Seat height is comfortable getting up for a big heavy person with an injured ankleWide enough to fit meNarrow enough for side walkStrong enough to hold meFolds down easy and strap to hold it closedTHE ONLY ONE I can walk to my car door with, sit down and pull inside to the passenger seatwell.Folding on the width dimension was critical for me so i can pull it over my lap myself.Key reason i bought this one. Other ones cost half as much but,DONT fold on the width, so you have to put it in the trunk cause you cant pull it over your lapIf you have someone always to help you, put it in the trunk other ones may work. Please Note i have good upper body and hand strength, someone infirm or feeble, without GOOD upper body strength, will struggle to lift this sturdy Rollator.Note EXACT SAME AS Strander Wonder but 40 dollars less- I believe the colors are different. One feature I wish it had was the ability to collapse the handles without having to deal w unscrewing the bolts. so it can be shorter too if you want to unscrew the bolts.. It is very very sturdy.

This is perfect for home and away use. Doesn’t take up space when collapsed but strong enough to support any size butt.

I love it and my wife loves how easy to put up. It is heavy but real strong.
