The biggest draw for buying this was definitely the compact capabilities of this chair. I currently take care of two older residents in my home and things like showering and toileting can be struggles when they’re not at 100%. This chair helps support them in those more trying moments and takes a lot of stress off of both me and themselves when they need an extra bit of support balancing over the toilet or when in the shower. The chair was easy enough to assemble and everything feels incredibly sturdy, even the rubbery pads on the bottom are very dense and do not feel flimsy at all. The chair functions as a standalone chair, a raised toilet chair, a commode and, of course, as a shower chair. The chair is much more compact than the one I was using previously, which was actually a shower chair on its own, but the size was just so bulky and even after removing it from the shower it needed its own dedicated space which was always an issue in my smaller bathroom. My previous chair was just ALWAYS in the way at some point when it was not being used, so I looked for something like this folding one. Right now, I can set it up within a couple of seconds for my residents when they need to shower and once they’re done, I can simply disassemble it and place it against the back of the shower and there’s STILL plenty of room for me to use it without bumping into it. Even when not in the shower, I can place it along a bathroom wall or in a closet or just anywhere really as it takes up very little space when compacted. This has given me so much more peace of mind as well as my residents as they have a solid, sturdy chair to support them when they need it.

The packaging on this product was phenomenal. Discrete, very heavy weight cardboard, foam boards, bags and wraps protected everything perfectly. The chair was heavier than I anticipated (almost couldn’t get it in the house), but about what you should expect for an extremely sturdy piece of furniture rather than the weight of a foldable walker. The seat and other padded areas were very nicely made. I believe this could easily support the 400 lbs as advertised if you are narrow enough to fit in the 17″ seat. Was impressed that end caps were provided to use on the poles if opting not to use the seat back. Only improvement would have been to include optional end caps for the legs, as I don’t anticipate using this in my tub (do you sell these as an option?). Also, the bucket was a bit of a tight fit, but it certainly won’t slide out of position while in use. Tight enough though that if the bucket was full, lifting the seat to remove would be your best option. Overall, I am very satisfied with the quality and value of this purchase.
