I ordered this chair because I wanted somtething that I could operate totally myself and also could travel by plane with . The auto fold feature was essential for me and it worked beautifully. Customer service made sure that I had the right size battery to comply with airline regulations. They also were really responsive to any questions I had about operating it. For a few reasons I was not able to use the chair on my own–because of my mobility issues, not because of the product–and had to return it. Again, customer serice was great, they helped with the return process and it was smooth and easy and fast. For that reason in particular, I give it a 5.

I love the look of the chair and it works great. It’s very heavy though and will need someone strong to move it in and out of a vehicle. I had some trouble getting it to open up and contacted the number on the enclosed card. I only let the phone ring a few times before I hung up as I was going to call back at a better time. To my surprise… The seller contacted me via text to see if they could help. She then called me and I explained my problem. Within 10 minutes I was forwarded some instructions as well as a video and we got the chair up and running!! Fantastic customer service!!

This scooter looks cool and is structurally sound but the joystick is terrible. After I let off of it the scooter keeps rolling up to a foot before it finally stops. The joystick is also not very responsive and it has caused me to bang into my walls a lot. The motors are supposed to be 350w each but they don’t seem to go up an incline very well. My old scooter was a Rascal 320 and the joystick worked great and when you let off of it the scooter stopped. The Rubicon is made in China. My Rascal was made in USA. There are several scooters for sale on Amazon that all look alike but have different names on them so beware they are all made in China. There are much better scooters out there and I regret buying this Rubicon for $1599.
