This XIAOSHUNER Alternating Air Pressure Mattress Topper for Prevention of Bed Sores can accommodate weight up to 300 pounds.It measures 79 (L) x 34 (W) x 4 (D) and comes with the mattress, pump, 5 foot long hose and an extra piece of plastic which may be a cell. It took approximately 20 minutes to fill with air. It is easy to operate. Just plug it into an outlet, turn on the pump and adjust the dial to 10 to blow up the mattress. Once inflated I adjusted the dial to level 2 which is for weight of 121 pounds.This mattress alternates pressure to its cells to reduce pressure on body parts. I got this for my father-in-law who has lost weight, has very little body fat and has started to get areas of redness on his hip from sleeping on his side. His Dr recommended to lay foam egg crates on the mattress but they are not helping. I ordered this since he only sleeps on his side and he needs an air mattress that will rotate air during the night to give those areas of his body relief from the weight of his body on that area.He is happy with the mattress and finds it comfortable. My mother-in-law is happy cause the mattress is easy to clean and the pump is quiet enough that it allows them to sleep. I hope that it will help relieve pressure on his side and prevent a sore from forming.
