I’ve been using Contour Cloud pillows for more than ten years now. I’m sure everybody’s needs are different, but this pillow is perfect for my arthritis, my neck pain, and my insomnia troubles. It supports my neck and head comfortably in any position, just the way I like. The only drawback I can think of is that over time the support gives out. The pillow loses its resistance to compression and gets saggy and I have to buy a new one. This happens every couple of years. So over the years I’ve tried other pillows but I always found I’d wasted my money, and I have to buy a new Contour Cloud anyway. No other pillow can hold a candle to this one. I’d recommend it to anybody. I’m sixty-eight now, but I wish I’d been using this pillow for forty years instead of only ten.

This pillow saved my life. I had developed such pain in my neck from disintegrating disks. A severe flare up i was afraid was permanent! Scared me as i work at computer. Get tingling in Hands and feet. I have owned this pillow multiple times over years. Nothing works as good. Is it hard? Yes. Just what i needed. Neck improved and after a week much better. Mem foam too soft and squashy.The shoulder cut out perfect. Use the concave or flip to convex for more support. Use the cutout or flip and tuck the wing of the cutout doubled under your head for more height. I will never be without this pillow and take it with me wen i travel. Replace every couple years as needed

I had a 5 level spinal fusion years ago and have a very, very tricky neck/spine. This is the ONLY pillow that works for me, and I’ve tried many. I need the “cut-out” design for my neck and to keep my spine in alignment. My only problem is that when it is time to order a new pillow, the new pillow is MUCH, MUCH too hard and stiff and I can’t use it- it causes me terrible neck/spine pain. I ordered this pillow for an emergency spare. My current pillow is one I have used 10 plus years and the foam is very soft and giving, yet supportive of my neck/spine.With this new pillow ordered, I am going to try to run it through the washer/dryer a few times, even though the directions say not to do this. (I’ve done this before and you have to be VERY careful as the washer/dryer will tear up the foam.) Another suggestion is that I typically give the new pillow for my husband to use to “break-in” and condition for me but it takes a LONG time!So buyer beware if you can not tolerate a hard, stiff pillow- this is not for you. On the other hand, if you prefer/need a hard and stiff pillow, you may like this.I also do not like the cheap white cover and take that off and replace with a good allergy cover. Also, be aware this pillow is made in CHINA. If you have issues with that, which I sort of do but I am a desperate spine patient, you may want to consider another purchase.If the pillow were soft enough for me to use today, I would bump up my review to 4/5 stars.
