My sister and I bought this chair for our sister who is handicapped. She lives upstairs but can only use a manual chair since her electric wheelchair she has is not capable of carrying up the steps. So she is dependent on having someone else push her and have to wait for someone to come and grab her.We got it for her birthday and gave it to her a few days ago. I was the one who put it together with “modifications” such as taking the footrests off and switching the controller to the left side since she is left handed. Test drove it as well, and it ran perfectly. I was scarred something may have been broken or had failure of any parts, but everything looked to be in good shape.I’ve seen reviews mentioning size and such. Yes, this runs smaller than “normal” adult wheelchairs. But I made sure to look at the measurements the product description says and knew what we were getting. She fits better in smaller chairs so this size was perfect! Also we were worried about the seat thinking it was a flimsy fabric from what we assumed the pictures looked like, but it’s actually quite comfortable and padded. Don’t know how to explain it but it did have some kind of thin foam in the seat to make it comfy.Foldability is pretty nice and easy. Folds like a manual chair but the handles also fold down. I will say it is a bit heavy though. Can be easy for quick lifts and such in and out of the car, but not continuous lifting and carrying. The breaks are very interesting. While the chair is on, the breaks prevent the chair from moving. You may rock a bit if you really try, but the chair stays still for the most part. I was worried because there on no manual breaks on this chair for extra security, but that’s the only thing I really didn’t like about the chair. Also, at first I highly disliked the beeping when you back up! It is so loud and can get quite annoying! Luckily I figured out how to turn it off on the controller, I just wished it told us in the manual instead of me searching the internet and trying different combinations until something worked.Other than all of that, it runs perfectly for what my family needs and my sister was really excited to have this. The battery holds really well and we hope to test this more if we get to go out for day trips. It is doing well so far and hope this will last us a long time.

Nice chair. Easy to set up. Easy to fold. Just fold it up like a regular wheelchair with the addition of being able to fold down the backrest to make it even smaller. The ability to lift the arms for side entry also allows for a better and safer entry for the elderly. Being able to change speed as well. Also having audible sounds like the horn, voice when reversing and having the SOS button as well. The audibles can be turned off too.

First the bad: it is 95lbs. The description says 50lbs+battery, but it is at least 75+battery. The description is wrong. There doesn’t seem to be a way to put the chair in neutral/manual/free rolling mode. This is really important for safety because if the battery dies or something malfunctions, the chair needs to be pushable (they also say to pull it like luggage when folded – same problem). The user manual even says to put it in manual mode for certain problems. Support has now given me two methods of putting it in manual, the user manual has given me another, and the internet has given two more – NONE of them work / match the chair. I have also asked how to turn off the reverse beep (it’s SO loud) but neither way they offered works. And the user manual? I now have THREE different versions, all from the company, and none match the chair. They’re barely readable and it’s more an editing problem than language. There are lines of text that start in one place then continue an inch down the page (one of them even with the page number in the middle of the text), if the line even shows up again at all. Every symbol shows up like an incompatible font. I really think they just stuck a whole document in a web translator and didn’t bother to even check if the pages still lined up before publishing. Even if it was well written, it is really short and covers very little.I thought the battery would be removable to charge (and was kind of counting on getting a backup battery). It is not and only charges through the controller. For the good? I only used it once on an outing to the state fair for about 5 hours. It is surprisingly comfortable and almost intuitive to operate. I am 5’7″ 190lbs sz 14, and didn’t feel cramped at all. It is faster than most people walk. The turning radius is the chair itself (it will turn a circle in place). I think it would be fine on level and firm dirt, gravel, or grass but didn’t try for more than broken pavement. I wouldn’t trust it on an incline steeper than a standard accessibility ramp or on soft/soggy surfaces. I was really impressed with the battery life – I used it for about 5 hours, moving most of that time, and had more than half the battery life remaining.
