Update: Am now able to navigate over thresholds in the house and it is working well over carpets and carpet edges. Love it but have to return became se it is for flat surfaces and I live i n the country.Original review: Purchased this to use around the house and for in town shopping. it is great fun but it gets stuck on thick carpeting and gets stuck going from room to room over the transom.cant imagine trying to go over handicap ramps in our old town. Great speed, tight turns, almost perfect.

I wish I’d realise this was not returnable. At the very lowest setting I still have no control over it. Even our maintenance man here said that he thought it was calibrated too fast. He bumped into things too. I drove a car for years and I have driven a scooter, but this thing is by far the worst. Just impossible. I will have to sell it for a loss.
