Tried this on the recommendation of my doctor and my sister-in-law. Glad I did. I use it 5-10 minutes a day and it seems to be helping.

Too small. I don’t see why I can’t return it. Never been used. How can you help me?

I saw an infomercial for a product like this and instantly thought of my wife. She was in a car wreck many years ago, and since then experiences regular neck/back discomfort. She lives an active and athletic lifestyle, but there are nagging little remnants from that wreck. I point that out to say that she is otherwise healthy and you will probably want to consult a doctor before using something like this if you are looking to treat an injury. This is, what I would consider, a medical device. Improper use, or use in certain situations, could cause more problems than it solves. But then again the same can be said of a spoon… So I will go forth assuming you know what you are doing.Back to my wife… She is always saying that she feels like she just needs to be picked up by the ears (I always refuse to try out of fear that she will end up with Spock ears, or no ears. Either way I’m not tempting fate). This device produces light traction which allows the vertebrae to slightly separate, similar to those contraptions where you hang from your feet upside down. Through use of interlocking rubber tubes you inflate this device which gently creates separation between your shoulders and the base of your skull. The pump mechanism is very easy to use and allows for great control. The construction is solid enough that you could probably drive a truck over it and not cause problems. The down side: first it smells like a new set of car tires. I like the smell, the wife hates it. I will concede that having a smell at all is a little obnoxious. Second, beware that there are sizes. I bought my wife a small, which just fits. She is not a big woman, so select your size wisely. I didn’t even see a place to make a choice, so I could have easily wound up with a return on my hands, which is quite a bummer when you are giving a gift.4stars because my wife uses it, loves it, and always says she feels better because of it. Even so, we both think there are some improvements to be made.
