This is a very sturdy walker. It is thicker and a bit wider than a standard walker. While it is a bariatric walker, it could make anyone with mobility challenges feel more secure. It is strong and durable. I will say that it could come with a few extra leg covers, as those wear out quickly. I have replaced them with tennis balls, but including a few extra leg covers would be great. Much sturdier than the previous walker I purchased.

My mom used this walker hard until she had a setback that made her unable to walk. She leaned on it heavily to walk especially toward the end. It never flexed and looks brand new. It folds for transport and easily fit in my trunk on top of the wheelchair.

Most walkers do not accommodate wider hips – I couldn’t even find one through local medical supply companies. This one is not some flimsy piece – it is strong and sturdy and made to walk inside the bars like you’re supposed to.
