It comes assembled, all you have to do it drop on the footrests (if you want them) and it’s ready. Wife is in an ankle boot and will likely need surgery this summer so we got this to use at airports and outdoor events as needed. We had to rent a wheelchair about 4 or 5 years ago and it was about $55 a week. For the cost of 3 weeks rental you can own your own. This one is much nicer looking and more comfortable than a rental also.

We ordered this wheelchair based on the model listed (Silver Sport 2) because that was the model my mom had. Unfortunately this wheelchair was much bigger. No problems with the product. It was just too big for my mom (who is a petite person) and the width was a little to wide for her hall door entry.

This is not lightweight as described very heavy and box was torn in many places fortunately wheelchair was in good shape
