Nice and sturdy but not too heavy to transport. Great for walking in the yard or uneven terrain. We have not used it in sand so can’t comment. But the size of the wheels would make it easier I would say than the thin wheel other walker my MIL tried to use at the beach. We had to just carry it to the shore line, I would say this might actually work in the beach sand and shore line . It does very well in the yard and in parking lot with uneven surfaces the other “traditional “ walker would get stuck on a rock, ugh… it was only made for smooth even surfaces. This one also maneuvers much much easier, she no longer runs into furniture or walls . For any active seniors or adults with a functional disability I would recommend. This walker also allowed her to shop with us at the outlet malls when she got tired she just sat down, and it carried her stuff in it built in basket. We added a drink holder and bought a clip on rechargeable fan so she was comfortable no matter where she went . She loves it for the ball field, she can go watch her great-grandchildren play soccer and baseball! I’m planning on putting some spinner lights on the wheels and decorate it for Halloween so she can go trick or treating this year LOL. SHE Loves it, we love it bc it help her keep her independence and active

My 94 year old mom loves this one for outdoor activities. The big wheels make it stable in rough areas. Mom loves the breaks that lock it in place and loves the seat when she needs a break. She keeps chickens and uses it to walk to and from the chicken coop. She loves the basket in the front for her egg bucket.

Love it! Have had many compliments and inquiries about it. Super good for working out on paved trails with my service dog. Bag is a bit bulky but everything fits nicely. It may be necessary for people who can’t lift to get help loading it in the car.
