I bought this walker for a family member to use during a multi-day event so he could participate in activities (he normally uses a cane) and sit down when he needed to. He had never used a walker before, so I chose this one because of the simplicity – the sturdiness claims (supporting 390 lbs – although it says 400 lbs in another place in the description), it was lightweight (5.5-8.2 lbs), adjustable height, folded easily, had a seat, optional 2 front wheels and additional lower-level arms to make standing up from a seated position easier. Since we would be in and out of vehicles and likely carpooling, it needed to be compact and easily set up. I did have questions about how the seat attached, and if the walker could be folded without removing the seat, and how to lock and unlock the frame in place. I didn’t know what a “reciprocal” option was, but I assumed it had instructions or at least would be intuitive to assemble and use. There were no customer reviews, which concerned me, but it had all the features I was looking for and I couldn’t find them all in another walker, so I took a chance. The walker was indeed as described and seems very sturdy. I was impressed right away until I realized the multi-page pamphlet that came with it was only in Chinese, small print at that and I couldn’t figure out the answers to my questions from the tiny pictures. I contacted the seller, who contacted the supplier, who was going to have an English translation available “in a week or so”. It has been a week and a half with no English instructions yet, and the family event is over. We ended up not using it because of the uncertainty of the seat assembly, locking/unlocking mechanism and safety precautions that we would have had to just guess about. However, I do plan to keep the walker and look forward to useful instructions for future needs. Hopefully, they will be posted on the product site soon. And maybe even an instructional video!Update: Just received an email from the seller with attachment of very helpful manual in English. Changing rating to 5 stars.
