I got this for my elderyl friend. She was struggling to walk and the cane she had wasn’t doing much for her. Putting this together was pretty easy and didn’t take long. It also adjusts to height which is nice since my friend is a small woman. Once she started using this her whole life changed. She is now able to get around much better. She loves that it can be used to carry her purse, bags, etc. She can even sit on it when she needs to rest. Now this is not for a large/overweight person but will work perfectly for a smaller framed, light weight person. The price is great and very affordable if you don’t have insurance to help out.

To save you some trouble, I’ll share my hard-earned discovery: the back wheels should face outward, as should the black washersbe on the outside, and are position-sensitive. Once I figured this out, the rest of the setup went relatively smoothly.That said, if you’re someone who struggles with unclear instructions (or if this is your first rollator), you might want to phone a friend or watch a video tutorial online. It’s not impossible to figure out, but it’s not exactly user-friendly either.**Design: Practical and Sturdy**Now, onto the good stuff! The build quality of the iLIVING rollator is excellent. Rollators are all pretty much the same. Four wheels, a seat, some brakes. This is no exception, however, there are a couple areas where this stands out from other walkers. The seat is flat and made with a sturdy foam for a stable surface. If you’ve never used a rollator or been out with someone using a rollator, you wouldn’t understand how unusual and practical this is. My mom’s other rollator has a soft, comfy seat, but it’s not flat and doesn’t hold up well to even the weight of a cup of tea. This rollator’s cushion is very firm and level allowing her to put her tea ups, plate, bowl, etc. on it when she’s snacking in front of the tv without the risk of it tipping over. It’s not uncomfortable to sit on, and it is more practical than the squishy seats that you can’t sit anything on. Second big win. This rollator has a nylon strap around the middle bar that you can use to close it quickly. My mom’s first walker had this and I didn’t realize how much I missed it with her second one until this one came. It’s so nice to be able to grab the strap and boom, the walker is folded and ready to go. It comes with the standard inexpensive under seat bag, but it’s a standard size so you could get a bag organizer that fits it. The brake handles are a little wiggly. Not in a broken way, but just there’s a little more play in them than other walkers. The brakes work great so far. Really, the only problem was the instructions. They could have been clearer. Like, it says to put the wheels in and sit it up and then you put the handles on and then put the wheels on again? Obviously because the first time I put them on, it didn’t tell me to use the screws to se them so one wheel was always falling off. I shouldn’t have read the instructions.
