We bought this chair for my 84 year old mother. She was familiar with the carts at Walmart but never used a joystick. The chair was easy to assemble and understand the recharge system. It charges at the joystick controller or battery pack directly. This would be handy if you don’t have a handy place to plug it in. You can lift off the 3 lb pack and plug it into a countertop. The chair is powerful and can be fast. It handled my steep driveway slope easily. The size is smaller and fits through doors. It is a great chair. Two items to know. You have to practice with the joystick, slight moves respond quickly. Leg supports need to be removed to fit in a sedan. It compacts like a travel chair but the legs don’t fold back. You need to pull a pin device to remove the leg supports. I also pull out the controller to make it smaller.

I had a lot of anxiety about buying an electric wheelchair online even though I did a lot of research on them. I’m very happy I chose this one. It arrived assembled except the footrests. It’s easy to load and unload in the trunk. It weighs right at 40 lbs. After the first initial charge, it only takes about an hour to fully charge. The speed is great! It turns a circle the width of itself and fast. If you are 6′ or taller I’m not sure how comfortable it will be for you because it’s not very big. I’m 5’5″ and it’s perfect height for me. There’s no room for a cup holder or any kind of accessories but that’s what makes it so compact. It is a very comfortable ride and a good purchase.

Really nice little chair. Seat is a little narrow, but comfotable. Has a storage bag on back big ebough to hold charger. One battery; can be charged off or on the chair (if charging on tge chair, disconnect the battery cable from the chair.
