I got this for my mother who has severe scoliosis after multiple back fractures. This walker is the bomb, I wish we knew about this earlier! She walks much straighter than she did with her standard walker, her back and shoulders don’t hurt as much, and best of all, there’s no way this thing can fall sideways. Be warned that it is wider than a standard walker and you’re never going to get this into the trunk of your car unless you take it apart.

I received this walker, one day ago. It was easy to assemble, and not touching wheels or any bolts. The right front wheel fell off, along with the lock washer and nut. I put it back on, just to find out that even using your hand to tighten the nut, the wheel would not spin freely. It is not for me to fix it. This item should have been tested before shipping. Very disappointing!!!

Reviews mentioning size are ABSOLUTELY CORRECT…it is far larger than the manufacturer says in their measurement photos. Don’t believe those photos! The ONLY accurate dimension in their photos is the width of 31″. Check my pix for actual numbers. The depth is 26″, not 28″ as they state. They state the height from floor to the top of the handle is 37.25″. Not even close! It measures 46″ tall! I bought this for my 5’0″ senior mother, figuring it would help her stand up straighter. I figured that if the top of the handle is 37.25″, then the arm rests have to be lower than that. NOPE! The arm rests are taller than they state is the height of the entire unit. Arm rest tray at the rear, where one’s elbow would rest is 40″ from floor to lowest point in the curved tray. The front end of that same tray is 41″ from floor to tray well. If their measurements of a 37.25″ total height were accurate, then that tray would have to be lower than the 37.25″ which they state is the entire height of the unit. But those trays are HIGHER…much higher than 37.25″!Analysis: If the intended user is anything under 5’6″ there is no way this will work for you. The average US female height is 5’4″. Therefore, the average US female is too short to use this unit. I am 5’8″ tall. On its LOWEST height setting, I could use it. One notch up would be slightly better but it would also be more than enough height for me at that point. Keep in mind that if the user has any scoliosis or back curvature which affects how tall they stand, then they are technically shorter than their technical height and you need to account for this when considering if this unit can be used by them. Therefore, a person who stands say 5’9″ but bends over slightly may actually stand at only 5’6″ and be just barely tall enough to use this product.More importantly: One user mentioned that they had their doors WIDENED to accommodate the 31′ width. Widening your doors is possible, but it isn’t something that most people can afford to do or that may be possible at your house. Plus, you still have all your furniture to navigate around. It’s almost like a ship in a bottle. Once inside the house, unless you have doors that have a MINIMUM clearance of 33″ (take into account door opening moldings and trim strips, etc.), then you will be unable to move from room to room. A 33″ door opening would leave LESS THAN ONE INCH of clearance on either side…that’s cutting it pretty close, assuming you wish to avoid damaging your door opening trim panels/paint, etc. Our home is a very high end, custom built home. It is not a cheap apartment with small doorways. No way it fits inside here. The product seems sturdy. For individuals who stand AT LEAST 5’6″ (must be taller if they have any back curvature issues) AND for homes with doorways offering a MINIMUM 34″ width, then it works. But heads up…most interior doorways are NOT that wide. Typically, 28″ – 32″ is the standard, FURTHER REDUCED BY the thickness of the doorway trim strips which are fitted inside the opening of all doorways to allow the door to stop when it hits the latch point. Conclusion: This walker is so much larger than what the dimensions state that it was almost comical after seeing it assembled in the front foyer. I felt like a toddler playing with an adult product…it was so big! But wait a minute…I AM the adult! Other than up and down the hallway to either the master bedroom or the family room at the opposite end of the hall (both rooms which have DOUBLE DOORS, the only opening it will fit thru at this house is the front door…which is where it will be going on its way back to the Seller.Great idea! LOVE the concept. Now please make one that fits inside a normal house.
