I mostly purchased this scooter for traveling. We vacation frequently in the Florida Keys and I have a difficult time getting around the Miami airport. I have used it about 3 times now. I have had absolutely no problem taking it on Sun Country Airlines. I have not tried other airlines. The airline usually puts a tag on it at the gate. I drive it right up to the door of the airplane and leave it there while staff take it to store it below the airplane. When we get to our destination, staff retrieve it for me and it’s waiting in the same area that I dropped it off. There is no charge for transporting the scooter, but the airline would like a few days’ notice that you are bringing it with you. I did research videos online regarding taking a mobility scooter on airplanes so there is information out there for you. Typically, they will ask you what the weight, height, and width of the scooter is and what type of battery. Regarding rental cars, just make sure to have some extra room in back of vehicle for transport. We stick to renting SUVs. It is easy for two people to lift it into the vehicle without taking it apart. I have had no problems with the battery. Although I bring the charging cable with me (for the week), I have never had to recharge it while on vacation. This makes it extremely easy for me using it for long distances which I have trouble walking. Also, very easy to operate. Definitely a good buy for me. I hope this review is helpful for those wishing to take it on flights.

It is compact, easy to carry, and this is what I want. My sedan trunk can easily store it when it is fold. And not hard to lift it, it is light.

I bought this mobility scooter for my mom who has trouble walking long distances, and it’s been a total lifesaver over the past month! She can now easily move around the neighborhood, visit the park, and even go grocery shopping without getting tired. The controls are super simple—just a thumb lever to speed up and slow down, which she mastered in minutes. The seat is comfortable with a backrest, and the height is perfect so she can get on and off without struggle. It runs smoothly on sidewalks and even handles small bumps without any issues.
