This chair will NOT go up a ramp. The front wheels leave the ground and the drive wheels will not go anywhere. This company is VERY difficult to work with. Absolutely do NOT purchase this chair from this store. Not returnable without great difficulty and they just about tell you that the chair will be destroyed in the return and you will not get any refund at all.Currently own a $4000 paperweight

Like all short 6 wheel mobility chairs, it has a low center of gravity and low ground clearance, and it transverses flat hard surfaces well. What I wanted was an extremely high quality dependable short mobility chair, that does great at what it is designed to do. And that is exactly what I got. This mobility chair, when used on ramps that slowly transition into the incline, it will easily take 400 Lbs up a 10 degree incline. What it will not do, is go through a big hole with a 10 degree side; as because it has 6 wheels and a center drive, it will high center. It also will not go over deep gutters and large road speed bumps. I had to install a Curbside Bridge Ramp across the road drainage gutter so that I could get mine from my driveway, into the street. But this was not a problem for me, you have to learn to work with what you have. There is no perfect design, none of this mobility devises will do everything. Try to buy what you need, enjoy the good points, and find ways to deal with the others.
