Finally found a well-made large accessible commode shower chair.These are so hard to find in the space of larger people/obese accessibility items. I was initially worried about the flimsy looking armrest as I’m 265 pounds. I’ve been able to push myself up using the retractable armrest and hold without so far noticing any breakage.Overall very happy, The extra wide seat is also excellent. I use a hoyer to get into my shower. This chair doesn’t have a deep enough seat to let me sit securely. If it had a reclining seat it would have worked for me.
Just for Me –
This chair is a GodSend! My husband is 300lbs, I am 125lbs and move him in and out of shower with ease. The large rear wheels provide stability without any “rocking” and the front casters provide easy maneuvering. The locking mechanisms on both rear wheels and front casters are also a plus. Love, love, love this chair
