This is wonderful! It is so easy to use! Very sturdy and the perfect size for my mom who is maybe 4’8. I love how easy it is to just fold up and put in the car. Even in the house it just fits anywhere and stands on its own. I know it was more $ than the standard walker but it is definitely worth the extra $.

This is an outstanding product based on my one week of use. Got the Cobalt Blue. Easy handle height adjustment. I’m 6ft and the handles are at the #3 hole. There are a total of 5 adjustment holes, about 2″ apart, so quite a good range. While I’m not an engineer, I do restore collector cars for a hobby, so looking at this, you can quickly tell that someone spent a lot of time getting it right. Welds are really nice, rubber fittings are good. Although the unit is put together with rivets, all wear parts are held on with screws, so easily replaceable wheels and skids, adjustable friction washers. It deploys easily and the fold up function is a snap. I’m a big guy and this walker was very, very sturdy. I did not detect any weakness in any part. The size, once you fold it up, is very compact and easily moved around. To give this the highest compliment, whomever designed this either uses a walker or someone in their family does. It is that well made.

My husband has serious mobility issues. We travel a lot. He is usually in an electric wheelchair but at home he uses a walker. It is very large. This portable, collapsible walker (they call it a stander) is perfect for traveling. it will work in any hotel room with limited space. he can use it as an aid to get up out of bed and even just get himself to a dining room. The device collapses to something like 5 inches in width so it is easily stored to the side of a dining table. You can’t sit on it if that is important but those walkers are so large. This fit the bill for our needs. And friends comment on how attractive it is. Someone decided that devices for the disabled have to be ugly. This is not. Would absolutely buy again. OH! I had to have hip replacement and I used this as my walker for the first week. I was using it outside to get my walking in and the pavement wore down the gliders but replacements are available so even that wasn’t a problem Love this item!

This is a lifesaver. I can’t manage a full walker in my car. This slips right into the back seat through the window. It allows me the freedom to be independent. When I go out with friends, it can go in the front seat by me, and they don’t have to get out and stow it. At the theater, it can lie on the floor. At the grocery store, it can fold and ride in the cart. Just bought a second one to keep at my daughter’s home. Her car has to hold car seats and strollers, so no room for regular walker. I am totally walker dependent (balance trouble). I keep this in my back seat and leave the regular walker in the garage when I go out. Huge blessing.

I am taking a cruise and anyone who has taken a cruise – yes, you have assistance and they will take you in a wheelchair, but let’s say you are walking in Skagway, looking at the shops, instead of a cane, you want something that will give you better balance – like a walker – taking or renting a rollator can be a pain. This is perfect. I tried it out here at home. I have my standard medical walker, a rollator, but anyone who has those knows things get bulky and take up a room. In the house, I do not use anything really but my cane is always near by. However, there are times I want the stability of the walker. This does not take up room and will replace my cane in the house when needed. It is also so lightweight and much easier to transport in the car……..and if you are looking for a carrying case – I got the perfect one. It was actually made for camera tripods….AMBITFUL Widened Version Tripod Carrying Case Bag 19/21/25/31/39/43/47/51/55/ for Light Stands…..you can get this here at Galenus Medical. It is reasonably price, appears to well made, and if you want this walker on the plane – the case easily fits in the overhead or if you checked in at the gate. Even in the car, it would be great – it does not take space. Oh one more thing about the walker – the button you pull up on to collapse it is so easy – it was seconds after opening the box – the walker was in use……yes, I do recommend this. On a side note, I am 6 foot – and usually like the width of bariatric walkers. This one is not really wide like a bariatric walker but I don’t feel like I am tripping over it and I can adjust it to fit my height.Update 8-9-2024. Returned from Alaskan Cruise and spending several days in Seward. I am so grateful I took this walker. The halls are narrow, elevator crowded, and doors narrow that your everyday walker. When I went through a narrow space, I just picked it from the middle – squeezed through – still functional – then opened it all the way. I would caution you in doing this only because you do not want to forget to push the lever down so it opens all the way but it kept me from getting nasty looks on the elevator. It held up – took a real beating – and it helped me in and out of the shower. The slider feet really lasted, when we walked where we did over the uneven, gravel areas, getting on various smaller boats, walking forever. I am so glad I found this one. Get the case I recommended – and you can get luggage tags to tag as medical equipment. Checked it in on the way back but it is small enough to go in the overhead – even in the smaller planes.

I have been developing a balance problem lately, mostly outdoors or in crowded places. I am fine in most indoor places. I bought a cane, but that was no longer cutting it. I am a long-time season ticket holder to our local minor league baseball team, plus we go to games at other ballparks, as well. At these games, there are always kids running around on the concourse who do not look where they are going, and I can’t just stop on a dime to avoid them and still keep my balance. It was getting very difficult to get to and from my seat and the concessions and bathroom. I have a husband and he was getting me food and stuff, but he can’t go to the bathroom for me; sometimes he has had to walk me to the ladies room and wait. I was not happy about this, and was wondering if we’d be able to keep our season tickets if it was getting that difficult for me to move about on the crowded concourse. And it would break my heart to have to give them up. I see people with walkers at the ballpark all the time, but they are all big and clunky. During the week, my husband works and I take an Uber to the ballpark and he meets me there. So the big clunky ones might annoy the drivers for making me move slower in getting them into the car, they’d give me bad ratings, and then nobody would ever come and pick me up anymore! I also wanted something that I could easily slide under the baseball seats so that it is not in anybody’s way. I wondered if such a thing existed, and when I searched on Galenus Medical for “lightweight folding walker” and found this one. I ordered it, and thanks to the magic of Galenus Medical Prime, it arrived on Wednesday. There was a game that night, so I was able to try it out at the ballpark then. The walker comes fully assembled, in a rather large box, which I have not thrown out yet because my rather large cat likes to sit in it. The only thing you might need to do once it is out of the box is adjust the handles to your height. I am 5′ 10″, and one of the selling points of this walker was that it can fit someone up to 6′ 8″. I didn’t have to adjust the handles all the way up, so it probably really would work for a person over 6′. I also ordered the Drive Medical Universal Cup Holder to go with this, so I could buy a beverage from a concession stand and carry it with me back to the seats without spilling. It was actually more work to attach that properly than it was to adjust the walker to my height. It is very lightweight. It folds up about as small as one of those umbrella strollers. Even with the handles extended for my height and the cup holder attached, it fits perfectly under two baseball seats. Fortunately, our seats are on the aisle, and it is easier to slide the thing in and out that way, than it is if the seats are in the middle of the row. But it will still fit reasonably well and not get in anybody else’s way. I can also hold it with me in the Uber well, without being cumbersome and having to make the driver put it in the trunk. It also fits easily in the back seat of our own car, a Ford Focus. I just don’t want to put my dirty old walker wheels on the seat of someone else’s car, though. As for actually moving about with this walker, it is super easy. Folding and unfolding it is a snap. Very easy to also make it narrower when going through a narrow space. I went to the ladies’ room and didn’t even have to use a handicapped stall. Also super easy to move about on the concourse, I can now stop on a dime if some kids are about to run into me. This walker has no brakes, but if all you need is something to hold onto to maintain balance, this should work for you. I actually think I am better off WITHOUT swivel wheels, even though I know you can order them if you want to,I will also add that this walker is not designed to be used as a seat if you get tired and need to sit. But I am mostly using it to move about on a baseball concourse so I don’t need a seat. So if you are looking for a walker to use in similar ways that I use it, look no further. Best $100 I’ve spent in a long time!
