We bought this for travel. We wanted to take it on the plane for international traveling and excursions. It worked beautifully. It is lightweight and folded very easily with the touch of a button. It fit in our taxis, in the plane, and was an obtrusive in our hotel room once folded. It is small, which means it is not going to feel secure and stable with a heavy person, moving up hills or on uneven surfaces. My husband is 150 but it was still a little challenge to feel like it was stable pushing him. We ended up using it more like a walker, so that he could sit and be pushed in an urgent situation, but need not be pushed all the time. To compare it to a walker, it was definitely easier to fold into a smaller size than our fellow travelers had with their walkers. it also is much sturdier if in fact, you need to ride And be pushed for any reason, such as just being too tired to walk further. It was easy to get up and downstairs, on and off our cruise ship, and to Fold or Tuckaway in a restaurant.

This transport chair is much lighter than the normal wheelchair and the fact that it folds makes it easy to transport in a vehicle. You don’t have to struggle to lift it into your vehicle. This is our second chair (same make and model). The first one’s brake cable disconnected and broke and could not be repaired locally. The vendor was very reliable. We received a new one because our chair was still under warranty.
