I’ve had this chair for almost 3 months. The company claims unmatched support. My chair over the last month, squeaks. Faster when I go faster. Called customer service, said tech support wanted a video? of a sound. Can’t talk direct to tech support. For 2k, I expect much better service. I’d think twice about buying this brand again. Edit added 6/24/2025. Working with customer service now for months on the same squeeky wheel issue. They finally sent a replacement wheel. In the picture it is the second one. According to the packing slip it is for a rear wheel drive wheelchair. So customer service doesn’t know the difference. I called and they said they would send out another wheel right asay. Two weeks, nothing so I called back. Oh, it was a UPS issue. Yeah right. Vive never sent it. I got the third wheel in the picture. Not sure what it’s for, since they tossed it in a box, no packing slip. So, in June, I call back, ask to speak to a supervisor. They ignored me. They finally shipped the right wheel. Guess what? it still sqeeks. Their tech support doesn’t know anything about their prodects. Do not buy from them. Ever. Downgraded from 2 to 1 star.Next, the stitching on the seat is starting to give way. Who knows how horrible their unmatched customer service will be on this issue.Edit 7/24/25 well, their customer service continues to be horrible. I added pictures of the seat. After 5 months, it is splitting along the seams. But since it has only a 1 month warranty, I can’t get a free replacement. They want me to pay 200 bucks for a new seat. Apparently they want me to buy a new seat every 5-6 months. DO NOT buy this company’s products.

Just got this Vive Electric power wheelchair/scooter. So far it seems to be great. It came in two boxes and assembly was not too bad. Charged the battery overnight. I ran it around the house and it made it though most doorways. The description said light weight and foldable. Not foldable that I can tell, The seat backrest folds down and you can pull the captains seat off the base for transport. Dont think you could put both seat and base in a trunk. Maybe you could put the base in the trunk and the seat in the back seat of a car. It steers from the rear wheels so it will take a little practice to move around smoothly. The front wheels are fixed and the rear wheels pivot. It turns very tight. The joystick is easy to use. Took it down my very steep driveway and back up. it did fine. I will update this post in a month or two.
