nice sturdy with big seat

The rollator just arrived and it took all of 5 minutes to un-box and assemble without evening looking at the directions (Yeah, it’s a guy thing). It’s heavy but really solid and well made. Huge wheels on it. I’ve got bad knees & I’ve been using a rollator we inherited from my mother-in-law. She was about 5′ 1″ & I’m 6′ 3″ so using her’s had me hunched over and put a lot of strain on my lower back. Comparing her’s to this one is like putting a Prius & an SUV side by side. It’s wide and takes some maneuvering to get through some interior doorways and I wouldn’t recommend it for smaller statured folks or people with limited upper body strength but it seems excellent for big guys like me. The sun’s out so I’m taking it for a test drive outside.Update: We purchased a family vacation cabin a couple of states away and are spending a few months there. With all the Christmas presents & other stuff we had packed in the SUV, didn’t have room to pack the rollator. Missed the big red machine so I ordered a 2nd one. Same sturdy construction and ease of assembly. One (actually two) of my best Galenus Medical purchases.

I can’t say enough good about this walker. It is such a huge improvement over walking with a cane. Great support for both legs and my back. Extremely sturdy and can bear my weight and the weight of all the many things I carry in it. The padded seat is more comfortable than many a chair and is right there with me when my legs can’t go any further. I even use it around the house and am able to multi-task again.It is wider than some of the doors in my house, but not any commercial doors I have thus far encountered.The only negative is its weight. It can be a struggle to get it in the car by myself, but that is a small thing compared to the sturdiness, reliability and extra mobility it gives me. I highly recommend this product. A terrific little machine for an amazing price.
