I found this walker to fit my needs perfectly. It was easy to assemble, transport and use. It is sturdy and it makes it easy to walk without putting pressure on the wrists, or hurting your back. It is a definite departure of the traditional walker, as it allows for better posture while walking. You can adjust the height of the arm rests to suit your height needs, as well as the length of the handle bars. Also, it has a small, but sturdy seat for the times when you need a little break. Overall, this is a great product!

Wife has a sprained knee and is recovering from a broken wrist operation. Standard walkers were not usable because of the healing wrist. She was wheelchair dependent with helper (me). An upright walker with support from the forearms was the best solution to provide independent freedom of movement. After much research, we selected this Elenker model because of features, good design, and value. Galenus Medical delivered it half way across the country in 2 days… much appreciated! It assembled fairly easily. It is very well thought out and built. Comfortable to use. At this early stage of use, I rate it 5 stars.Suggested improvements: I left off the cane/umbrella holder because it added width of about an inch which makes doorway clearance tighter for narrow doorways… the holder needs relocating where it does not add width. The brake cables hang out in mid-air and could be better routed to avoid catching on things. I would love sit-to-stand grab/push bars built into the frame to help handicapped users get up from the seat easier. These are suggestions that would improve an already good product.

Assembling is a bit challenging for me to do alone as I have severe arthritis in my right hand and my husband has too much shaking in this hands to be of help. Although all in all, I did have it assembled in less than 1 hour. I am still unable to figure out where to attach the cane holder. The cup holder that was recommended as an add on was not able to fit without modification, I had to purchase a longer screw in order to make it work. Instructions were not really clear on assembly. The unit is sturdy, the wheels move well, and navigates around corners really well. The little footstep area to help assist in getting over some obstacles is a bit difficult for someone with Parkinson’s to navigate without losing their balance, and in my husbands’ situation, he is unable to see it due to the color being black along with black wheels, I have added reflective paint to provide offset color for visually impaired. I have also added a light to help with being seen as well as his being able to see. While the product itself is great and very nice size bag. It is a heavy-duty unit. Very pleased, the things that I did were things that are suggested things you may want to consider, based on what your needs are.

Mom was having issues with her regular walker at the highest adjustment her posture was still off. This walker allowed her to correct her stance, offered adequate support, and had a seat when she needed rest.

I love my new walker. I have the standard rolater that I purchased several years ago, but due to severe stability issues with my knees I had fallen several times because the rolater is in front of you and you are pushing with your hands and arms away from the body. With the upright your arms and hands are comfortably resting closer to the body and unlikely to cause a fall by rolling away from you. Also your posture is better therefore no curvature of the spine that often comes with age and disability. I have received a lot of questions about the price and I am not ashamed to tell everyone it is affordable. I previously checked out several medical supply companies and had decided I would have to stick with a standard walker or wind up in a wheelchair because my Medicare would pay for them, I now tell everyone to check with Galenus Medical first. Unfortunates they do not come assembled so ask a family member or friend that is good with directions and handy for help assembling! The cup/ phone holder are nice but hard to clamp to the frame, I don’t think they are made by the same company. My husband attached mine between the hand grips and the frame hangs down so it does not fit in your way.

Seat could be a little deeper by allowing different adjustments on back strap. On rough ground may “push” over due to being lightweight, rather than rooling. I put ankle weights near the back tires to help this when rolling through grass. Hope this helps someone . Also could do with a tire spike ability to keep the legs sed even when brakes are locked. Sometimes sitting down causes “push out” when on light grass areas.

I bought mine in November 2021 and absolutely love it. I am partially paralyzed from a broken neck suffered 30+ years ago. I am prone to falling so when I walk, I am very cautious which causes my gait to alter and get all out of whack. I use a cane for most of my shorter distances and used to use my standard half height walker for longer distances. They worked but they still did not give me the confidence to move with a regular gait. Once I got this product I actually incorporated it into my exercise routine where I do the gym 3-4 days a week and walk a couple miles a day.I actually do a lite jog with it (to the extent I can jog). Fantastic product and see they have modified it from my version which almost make me want to donate mine and buy a new one when I have the funds. I highly recommend this product.

I keep having trouble with it folding up after I’ve been walking with it for a few minutes. Yes, I do press down to unfold it, and the metal clips click into place to se it. However, after a short time, the clips release on their own, and without realizing it, I find it starting to fold closed. I suspect there may be an issue with quality control, as the shape or groove in the hooks might not be deep enough or at the right angle. I can open it and click it into place, but if I lightly rock it back and forth on the floor using my hands, I can see the clips slipping out of the retention bars, causing the walker to start folding.
