   Five-stars for a product I am returning because of a design flaw that prevents me from using it? Yes – because though it doesn’t work for me, it will work for shorter people.I am really sad to report that this rollator is not suitable for people taller than about 5’9″. With a maximum handle height of just shy of 36 inches is simply way too low for me and I’m only 5’11”. Handle height is not mentioned on the Amazon web page for this product.Manufactured in China and clearly influenced by Scandinavian designs, this HealthSmart Rollator is well-designed and well-made. But I think the product was intended for the Southeast Asian market where people tend not to be as tall as in Europe and the US. As an importer, I think someone missed the height issue – or simply didn’t care since there are plenty of people of 5’9″ or less who buy rollators.Anyway, I literally can’t use this product. There was enough room on the column with the holes for adjusting the height to add another hole that would bring the handle up to 37 inches or so, but the brake cables are neatly trilled at the existing maximum height.I called the company and customer service was prompt, polite and regretful, but there is nothing that can be done to resolve this issue.So with genuine regret, I am returning the product to Amazon.This really makes me sad because the product is good.It folds very nicely with a small amount of effort required to unscrew two knobs holding the rear legs in place and lock the swivels on the front wheels. Squeeze the sides inward and the rollator compresses to just about 7 inches in width. It will stand upright when compressed like this, which would be great in restaurants for tucking it out of the way. (You could also leave the rear legs down when doing this.)Collapsed, the unit fits nicely in the back seat or trunk. It is small enough that you could find a duffel bag to carry it in for air travel.The 10 inch wide seat is very comfortable and the back rest is wider than I’ve seen on any other rollator. Overall, sitting on this unit is surprisingly accommodating.They include a small bag that hooks onto extensions of the seat frame and a cane holder.Overall, the unit is well equipped. No assembly is required: just pull it out of the box and you are ready to go.The unit is very maneuverable, though I experienced difficulties because it is simply too short for me.I am really disappointed that I can’t use this unit because of the low handles. But people 5’9″ or shorter should find this HealthSmart rollator very useful.Jerry

   This walker has made the difference in my ability to get around on my own. Began using it as a walking assist then as my abilities deteriorated I used it as a mobile chair assist too. Small enough to go through normal house doors, my house has carpet and it easily goes on carpet, to tile in kitchen and baths. It allows me to sit, stand and walk easily, carry packages from door on it’s seat if I walk with it, reach in cupboards with ease and flexibility. I had no idea it would be so helpful.It is very sturdy, has a bag to put in necessities which is also so helpful for pills, phone, etc. Before we lose our taken for granted abilities we do not know what to look for or ask for but this has served all my needs. I did buy a cup holder which made it too wide to go through doorways, but using bottles for drinks which rest easily in bag works. Cannot say enough about how helpful this is. An aside, anticipating worse determination I bought a wheelchair which is cumbersome and large, bulky and I have not used it; walker serves me so much better inside and outside home, also folds easily. A bargain for all it does to keep one able to live alone and manage well.
