   This is such a wonderful memory foam wedge pillow. It’s firm, and maintains its shape, while you remain comfortable and cozy weighted into to the pillow. It comes rolled up, and did not take overnight to rise. The instructions warned of smells that may be noticeable during this process, however I detected no offensive odors of any kind. It is wonderful to sleep on, especially if you suffer from GERD and the like. Your can prop up your torso, and easily find the right position. I can’t believe how comfortable it made me to be in this sleeping position, usually I’m awake in pain, or restless and uncomfortable. This is ideal, relieves pain, effectively supports your body in any position, and is relaxing to sleep with. I’m also healing from multiple heel fractures and continuously have leg pain, and is has helped me tremendously, due to the height and wedge shape. It’s easy to find the right position to sleep, while maintaining elevation for my leg.The only thing, and I can’t believe I’m saying this, it SO big. I did not realize how high and wide it is. It’s bulky and heavy, and takes a lot of room. It fits a twin bed perfectly. It’s just a hassle on where to put it, making the bed, and when not in use. But, I’ll happily figure out logistics, because it’s the design itself, including the dimensions that are making such an improvement in my ability to sleep throughout the night, in comfort.

   This is exactly what you see in the listing images. It’s a wedge, and it’s firm and generously wide. I do recommend you put it in a case made for the dimensions, and I had no trouble finding several options. This is great if you need to be propped up at home and have a normal bed, or on a couch for that matter.This is also useful when you’ve just moved and ever floor is your best place to sit because it makes the floor couch-like — if obnoxiously low (being on the floor).Past all that, we have two of these and found that by putting them next to each other, the single bed in the spare room suddenly transformed into a couch.This is not squishy, it’s firm — but that’s kind of the point in my view — it gives you a non-hard rake to use as described above. I think it’s a great item to have a pair handy for all the uses I mentioned – to bring the head up on the bed, to sit on the bed and read, and to use on the floor for sitting when called for.I’m very happy to have this, and I rate it 5/5 stars for the reasons I outlined above.There is one additional use I was unaware of until recently that I should mention — it’s an excellent launch ramp for the cat in “zoomie” mode. I guess it’s paw approved.

   I haven’t had this long enough to comment on longevity, but, short-term, it’s doing what it’s supposed to do.One issue is I have is the cover. It seems like it isn’t going to take much to get it dirty and it doesn’t seem like it’s going to hold up very long if it’s washed regularly. Not sure what I’ll do about that yet.The foam density is, I think, right at the edge for me where it’s firm enough, but only barely. I would prefer a little more firm.10 inches rise over 24 inches run is probably a good catch-all slope for me, but it’s not enough rise for me to use it how I want with my legs and makes the slope a little steeper than I want for use as a back rest when it’s flipped for that. More than 10 inches and it would probably be too much for me to sleep on though. And, it’s still usable as a back rest and as leg support.This is my first wedge pillow, so I am still working out some of the details, but, ever since I was a young kid, I’ve needed to pile extra pillows under my head, neck, and back to sleep comfortably, so it’s nice to have something that’s really purpose-made for that.The width is OK, but wider would be nice for me. My shoulders fit, but there’s not much room left over.I haven’t really noticed much for off-gassing, so that’s been fine. I opened the package to let the foam expand and wasn’t bombarded with gasses like with some other foam things I’ve had.Overall, I’m enjoying this wedge pillow so far. I guess the price is OK, but it’s higher than I think it should be. Still pretty affordable, and it does the job.
