I have a surgery coming up and will need to be sleeping on my back. I am a side sleeper so the doctor thought to use a wedge could be helpful. I have been using it so I can become more comfortable sleeping on my back. Some nights are better than others. But this wedge is very good quality. I did not experience any smell. The cover is nice as well. Recommend.

I have GERD, and use this wedge pillow for sleeping at night. GERD sufferers cannot lie down after eating until 3 hours have elapsed, even with use of wedge. I use this wedge as an extra safeguard against stomach acid backing up into esophagus during sleep. I use my regular bed pillow over it for extra comfort/height. Works well to elevate my upper body. I sleep easily on it. The wedge foam is firm but comfortable. Glad I got it!
