Just the right firmness and quality for what we needed. The covers are removable, and even without a pillowcase the quilted cover is comfy on your face.We are using these to create an “back angle” for a convertible futon/sofa (when it is being used as a sofa).My recommendation to anyone else that is going to use these for a similar purpose would be to go with a thicker wedge (maybe 10-12” at the thick end?). This note does not detect from the quality of the product – just something I learned along the way.

Got this to help with my GERD. My only complaint is that it’s VERY firm and I prefer a softer feel. It took me a while to find the right pillow to go with it but it does the trick
