Excellent wedge cushion. The 30 inch width is perfect for my husband who had recent lumbar spine surgery. It’s as wide as a twin bed and provides pkenty of room for repositioning. Prior to buying this he had been sleeping in a recliner. It gives him all the support he needs. He thanks me every day for buying this. Highly recommend.

I have swelling in my lower legs due to venous insufficiency, and having my feet elevated above my heart for long periods is a pretty important part of how I manage it. I try to sleep with my feel elevated every night because I can’t reasonably lay around for long periods during the day with my feet above my heart. :/ Compression socks have been useless. I have an adjustable bed, and at first it worked great, but then I started getting headaches because the blood was rushing to my head instead (it had me basically on a full incline with just the feet elevated). So I ordered this pillow to see if that could solve the incline problem. It does, but it creates another issue. It isn’t the full width of the bed so if I move my feet fall off during the night. If that happens soon after I fall asleep then the job doesn’t get done. Also, the incline is only enough in a certain position, but then it’s really awkward and uncomfortable around my hips where my legs suddenly shoot up. But it does solve the headache problem as my torso remains at a 90% angle. I guess there’s really not a comfortable solution, so I’m trying to accept that this is my life now. But overall the product works as expected; it’s sturdy and supportive and even though it’s not as wide as my bed, it *is* as wide as my extra-wide body, so that’s the most important thing.
